C-STEM® AMT 

The original C-STEM® Implant established a tapered slip stem that not only worked with the bone cement mantle but was also designed to produce positive proximal bone remodeling due to more anatomic stress distribution.1

In 2018 the C-STEM Total Hip System** was awarded an ODEP 13A* rating by the Orthopaedic Data Evaluation Panel.2

Launched in 2005* the C-STEM AMT has been provided to patients in over 85,000 total hip replacements worldwide with 41,000 in the UK alone.3

In 2017 the C-STEM AMT Total Hip System* was awarded an ODEP 10A* rating by the Orthopaedic Data Evaluation Panel.**2

  • A polished, collarless and tapered design incorporating a hollow PMMA centraliser.

  • Triple taper stem section is designed to load the medial bone and optimise interface stresses1

  • Highly polished forged Ortron 90 stainless steel alloy

  •  Each rasp is oversized by a minimum of 2mm versus the corresponding implant to ensure a complete / uninterrupted cement mantle.

  • AMT neck design. Designed to provide for optimised stability / ROM and polished to reduce wear in the case of cup impingement.
