"Pain Pretty Much Gone"
Before hip replacement my pain level ran at a 7-10 most of the time, It affected my life. I lost my job because they moved my work station and I couldn't walk that far. I also had to stop sleeping in the bed because I could never get comfortable enough to fall asleep.
Things needed to change when I gave up going to church. That was the final activity I gave up. I finally knew I wasn't in good shape. Up until then, I had tried to convince myself that it was all in my head.
Now, my pain is pretty much gone. I can sleep in bed, go to yoga, eat at a restaurant, pretty much all the normal things. Walking long distances is still not part of my day, but since I hate walking anyway, that's okay.
I just had to go ahead and do it. Then I did the physical therapy, and I keep doing it. Swimming and yoga has also been a great help for me.
