"Do The Rehab"
I had 3 steroid injections within three years to help me manage the discomfort of the bone on bone condition in my knee. The third one in 2015 did not work at all, so I decided to move forward with having my knee replaced. Because my last injection did not give me any relief, I had to delay my surgery 12 weeks. Those 12 weeks were challenging and I wasn't able to do many activities. My knee reached a new level of instability where I could not even cut our lawn.
Now that I had my knee replaced I am almost back to complete recovery. I am almost 6 months out from surgery, and I am planning to try tennis soon.
I incorporated a 45 minute water resistance exercise program that really accelerated the recovery of my knee. Do the rehab that is prescribed to you by your doctor.
