"I No Longer Feel Partially Handicapped"
A revision is what is done when the first replacement has to be corrected (revised) because the first failed. Now, after the second surgery, I am climbing stairs and ladders, walking without a 'hitch in my getalong' and looking forward to soon running, kayaking, golfing...living!
Looking forward, I am doing more almost daily, and I no longer feel partially handicapped.
When you first find you are losing some of your mobility, see the doctor. Don't wait for it to fix itself, because it won't. My right leg will take some heavy rebuilding of muscle, as I waited too long in the beginning. Check with your surgeon for your options.
