Pelvic and Acetabular Fractures

The anatomy of the pelvic ring and acetabulum involve complex surgical exposures and demands precise anatomical reduction to achieve positive functional results following a traumatic injury.

Occasionally, pelvic osteosyntheses following a fracture can be carried out using screws alone, but in the majority of cases lag screw fixation must be supplemented by one or more reconstruction plates.

The Pelvic Implant and Instrument Sets provided by DePuy Synthes contain a wide range of implants, reduction instruments, retractors and instruments for screw and plate fixation for the operative treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures.
