The KINCISE Surgical Automated System is designed to replace the handheld mallet traditionally used in Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA). During THA surgery, this automated technology helps surgeons deliver constant, consistent energy and automates bone preparation, implant positioning and assembly.

66.1% of arthroplasty surgeons have experienced a work-related injury at some point in their career, and 31% of these surgeons required surgery themselves to treat the injury. Because the KINCISE System is designed to eliminate the need for repeated mallet use, there may be less surgeon fatigue and potentially less work-related injuries in the operating room (OR).1

The KINCISE System is compatible only with DePuy Synthes Hip Systems. Adapters are available for a variety of surgical techniques, including ANTERIOR ADVANTAGE and ANTERIOR ADVANTAGE MATTA METHOD Hip Replacement, branded solutions for Anterior Approach from DePuy Synthes.

A single or continuous trigger allows for impact once when depressed and released or continuously at 6 impacts per second.

The KINCISE System delivers consistent energy, which is designed to help reduce variabilities experienced with traditional mallets. The KINCISE System eliminates repetitive mallet swings, which may reduce the risk of work-related injury.1

Forward and reverse application

The KINCISE System is designed to deliver both forward and reverse impaction forces, sensing the surgeon’s direction.
